Interest free credit card
Having an interest free credit card is always useful, but this is especially true of when you are on holiday. This means that you won’t have to pay any interest on the purchases you make abroad – just remember to check to see if there is a deadline on the interest free offer as they are often time-limited. It’s definitely worth getting an interest free credit card if you are going abroad, though.
Remember your credit limit
Holidays – particularly holidays abroad – are often times of excess, when we spend more money than we normally do. Of course, it’s good to kick back and let yourself go sometimes, but don’t forget about your credit limit as this applies on your credit card no matter where you are in the world. Set yourself a spending limit so you don’t go over it.
Save for emergencies if possible
